SOLD * the natural salmon coral rondelles are from a necklace given to me by my aunt. she had inherited it from her mother, who had received it as a gift in the 1920s. the necklace had fallen apart. i was willing to reassemble the heirloom piece for my aunt, but she told me to use it in my work, i.e., to repurpose or to upcycle it -- very popular terms these days. |
